A walk through volatility

Stench of violence
Floating in the air.
Fire flies high
Seeking the metal bird
And, with its chicks
Brought it down
In pieces,
Smeared with blood
Charred physiques
Brutally snatched.
And, MH17 a violated history.
This day humanity
Opened their eyes
A little late, a little slower
Will they remain opened ever?
To the smell of blood and smoke
Charred remains of human bodies
Between the glitters of worldly things
Lie silently beckoning honour.
Yet still the war is not over
Bodies not all gained their respective place
Fighting against time, countries send reps
To claim their own, a decent burial is all they crave for.

How long this shall go on?
In Gaza the relentless battle is on
Buildings gone homes shattered
Again a bloody battle where many died.
Irrespective of age, the missiles splits open
The values and lives of many
In search of peace, they run helter-skelter.

In Nigeria another form is ruthlessly ruling
By name they are known as Boko Haram
Shielding in the name of religion
Violent uproots the essence of humankind.
Peace is the call, yet in pieces things go
The gripping fear of suffering and death
Is not understandable nor experienced
By us sitting in the living room listening to the news.

The birds and clouds speaking of all these
What a shame to mankind in whole!!
Somebody is playing the rock and roll
Embattled souls let them die
Somebody is playing the rock and roll
United Nation is just round table stuff!!

Is war here for good?
Is war a fated tale for mankind?
Is war a way to divide and rule?
Is war a game of technological challenge?
Is war a religious obligation?
Is war a racial demarcation of superiority?
Is war a manifestation of polarized conflicts within?
Is war a magnified version of strength manipulation?
Is war barter for survival?
Is war a passion for hunters?
Is war territorial greedy reach?
Is war here for good?

War in essence
A primitive yet brutishly
Raw emotion!!.
